These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of calendar.app (the “Service”), including the website at getcalendar.app, related applications, APIs, embeds, and self-hosted deployments you operate under a license or subscription from us.
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or deploying calendar.app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
calendar.app is a self-hosted, multi-tenant scheduling and booking platform. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the operator of calendar.app / getcalendar.app. References to “you” mean the individual or organization using the Service.
2. The Service
The Service may include, without limitation:
- Creating and managing booking pages (“schedulers”)
- Public guest booking without requiring a guest account
- Calendar sync (for example Google Calendar and Outlook) and video conferencing links
- Team scheduling, routing forms, CRM sync, embeds, APIs, webhooks, and Partner API access
- Optional AI Notetaker features (transcripts, summaries, action items)
- Optional paid-event payment collection via payment providers such as Stripe
Features available to you depend on your plan, configuration, and deployment (hosted vs self-hosted). Some capabilities require third-party accounts and credentials (calendars, CRM, video, email, payments, AI providers).
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, API keys, and Partner API secrets, and for all activity under your account or organization.
- If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
- You must be at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction to create an account.
4. Organizations, roles, and guests
The Service is multi-tenant. Workspace owners and admins control membership, integrations, and settings for their organization. Guests who book meetings typically do so without an account; you are responsible for how you collect and use guest information through your booking forms and integrations.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Probe, scan, or overload the Service except through documented APIs within rate limits
- Interfere with booking integrity (for example, attempting to circumvent holds, double-book protections, or payment requirements)
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service except as expressly permitted in writing
- Upload malware or content that is illegal or violates these Terms
We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect the Service and its users.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of content and data you submit to the Service, including booking details, form answers, calendar metadata you sync, CRM mappings, and Notetaker materials you generate or import (“Customer Data”).
You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service, comply with law, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
Self-hosted deployments: When you run calendar.app on your own infrastructure, you control storage and processing of Customer Data on systems you operate. You remain responsible for securing that environment, backups, access control, and compliance with applicable law.
Source of truth: Scheduling rules, bookings, and related state managed by calendar.app are intended to be authoritative within the Service. Connected calendars supply busy information and receive events; you are responsible for conflicts arising from calendars or tools outside the Service.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties (for example Google, Microsoft, Zoom, CRM providers, Stripe, Nango, SMTP providers, and AI/notetaker providers). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or data handling outside our control. You authorize us (or your self-hosted instance) to connect to providers you configure using OAuth or API credentials.
8. APIs, embeds, webhooks, and Partner API
If you use API keys, embeds, webhooks, or Partner API connections:
- Keep secrets confidential; rotate compromised credentials immediately
- Request only the scopes you need; do not exceed documented rate limits
- Verify webhook signatures where provided
- Ensure Partner applications obtain appropriate user/organization consent
We may throttle, revoke, or refuse API access that threatens stability or security.
9. Payments
If you enable paid events, payments are processed by third-party processors (such as Stripe). Fees, refunds, chargebacks, and tax obligations for meetings you sell are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing. Separate subscription or license fees for calendar.app itself, if any, are described at purchase or in an order form.
10. AI Notetaker
Optional AI features may process audio, transcripts, or text to produce summaries and action items. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on AI output as sole legal, medical, or compliance advice. You are responsible for obtaining any required consents from meeting participants before recording or transcription.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, documentation, and design, is owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights granted to use the Service, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
12. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect it and use it only for purposes of these Terms, except information that is public, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SCHEDULING WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF CONFLICTS WITH EXTERNAL CALENDARS OR NETWORKS.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US).
15. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service, your booking pages and communications with guests, your integrations, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, non-payment, or discontinuation of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use hosted Service ends. Self-hosted license rights end according to your license or order. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of calendar.app, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.
Specific governing law and venue details may be confirmed in a customer agreement or on this page when published for production.
19. Contact
